Roger Day has knack for creating songs that takes complex ideas and makes them simple and fun. This CD is the soundtrack companion to the live concert DVD Roger filmed live at the Savannah Music Festival and on location at the University of Georgia Marine institute on Sapelo Island. A collaboration with SMF and the Georgia Sea Grant, Roger uses his trademark "wit, whimsy and wordplay" to introduce children everywhere to the fascinating plants and animals that live in and around the saltwater marshes and beaches of barrier islands and how each one has an important role to play in a healthy ecosystem. Even sneaky ghost crabs and regurgitating vultures!
