Rock the Zoo with Roger Day - STEAM-Based Learning with a Great Beat!

 

The Birmingham Zoo is partnering with children’s musician Roger Day to conduct a series of STEAM-based programs for the 2017 spring field trip season. The stage show is an interactive educational program featuring STEAM-based activities, animal demonstrations and some of Roger Day’s most popular songs including the brand-new "Zookeeper's in the House". The music video, starring the very animals and zookeepers of the Birmingham Zoo you'll meet, went on to get more than 20,000 views in the first twenty-four hours it was available! So stand up and get ready to use your best YMCA-style hand motions and help Roger Day spell Z-O-O!

Shows are included as part of your admission, and are held at 10:30am and 11:45am on the following dates: April 17 & 18, April 24 & 25 and May 1 & 2.
